My ‘18 CGTS has the keyless entry. When I touch the door handle to lock it, it beeps once. The manual says it should beep twice.
Locking with the key makes two beeps. What’s up?

My 2017 718 BS does the same thing, and when I check to see if it’s locked it always is!

Thanks for the responses. I was just wondering if mine was defective. On rare occasions it does beep twice, but usually I get one beep.
I guess this is not unusual. As long as it is locking, I won’t sweat it.

One touch locks the car and alarms the car with two beeps.

If you touch the spot twice in succession, the car locks, but alarm does not arm and you get one beep. This is a mode to lock car and allow dog to stay inside without motion alarm.

That’s what my manual states. But it doesn’t seem to work that way. One touch gets one beep.
I’ll try tapping it very briefly to see if that works for two beeps...

Same problem here, too. And, I experienced the same thing with my 911 TTS. Almost always get one beep, not the way the manual says it should work.
