Starting tomorrow (Saturday June 16), Velocity TV will air the 24 Hours of LeMans for its entirety.

Velocity is a US based TV channel......not sure if those outside the US have access to it.

Likely. Though: It's got a fighting chance to get out of Group D if it plays like it did in Euro 2017. I sense Croatia might underperform, and Nigeria's, well, Nigeria ... that group could get real crazy real quick if anyone falters -- and Argentina is nowhere close to being bulletproof ...

A Porsche RSR, running in the famous Pink Pig livery, is running first in LMGT Pro class at LeMans (with about 13 hours to go).

Patrick Dempsey's similar car is running first in the LMGT Amateur class.

The RSR is a mid-engine "911" that has a profile suspiciously similar to the car in my driveway. :|

Alonso wins overall LeMans along with Buemi and Nakajima! Perfect!

Alonso's night drive was really something! He was "take no prisoners" every lap!

For me, one of the better outcomes. I have long really liked Alonso. He is a throwback driver, wanting to and effectively competing in different forms of racing at the highest level. What many may miss is the incredible amount of work he does to prepare for whatever he decides to do......he commits and then, importantly, executes! He was running times as good or better than many who are long practiced in sports car racing. I would venture to say that he has a long career ahead of him in other forms of racing, when he hangs up his F1 helmet. And then, to have Porsche do so well in both GT classes........outstanding.
