V250 is when your vehicle "locks" - No changes after that point - Mine was scheduled to lock on 3/9 and it actually locked on 3/5. So if you are decide to make a change don't wait

Does anyone know why there is a Planned Date and Expected Date on my build sheet? Is it a fudge factor?
Not sure about fudge factor but most people get their cars 2 to 4 weeks early. One other thing, when I made changes to my 718 the vehicle was V210 (Change freeze Point Reached) status, and although I was able to still make changes it delayed delivery by a couple of weeks. If you really want to make any changes you should but inquire as to whether you are V210 and whether it will impact your delivery date.

And I made my last change two days before the new lock date - but made one small mistake - We forgot to add the Smoker package and passenger netting back in.

You can't select tire brand, unfortunately. And I've seen the 718's arrive with at least 3 different types of tires. I'm hoping for Michellins, but only because I don't remember having them on any of my cars. I've always wanted to, but it was always an expensive option when switching tires.

My car is at "V200" right now. Is there a cheat sheet somewhere that explains the whole process? I'm trying not to pester the dealer too much, given the strings that had to be pulled to get me this allocation.

Regardless of what comes on the car, I'll be replacing them (when needed) with Pilot Sport 4S. I only hope they work as well as the SuperSports have for me in the past.

I know this is high level - but hope it helps

Vehicle Fixed V250
Production V260
Exit Production V270
Vehicle Completion V300
Entry to Port (emden) V331
Exit Port (emden) V332
Entry to Port U000
Exit Port RI U001
Dealer Invoice O400
Dealer Inventory V900

PS - I am sure the dealer would take your call - remember you are paying a lot for your vehicle and I know my dealer has been more than helpful and very responsive - and mine "supposedly" pulled strings to get my allocations - and they have been very responsive - I truly think they like talking about this stuff.

I wanted the Smoking package quite allot. When I go on extended vacations I am able to use the Porsche battery maintainer without having to fuss with going under the frunk to get to the battery. I inquired about having the smoking package retrofitted on a GT4 I was interested in and none of the dealerships that I spoke with wanted to undertake the job. For me it's a must have.......
