Looking for recommendations on portable garages

I have two cars I have to store outside and I have been storing them under Shelterlogic Portable Garages like this:

It is OK...the frame is not the sturdiest and the covering material lasts about a year max. I am looking for something a little higher quality.

I see some from Arrow sold at home depot and Versa Tube. I want something that I can fully enclose and Arrow sells a vinyl enclosure kit.

Arrow sells an enclosure kit for their metal roof 12x20 carport, but again bad reviews.

I am just wondering if any of you out there have used the Arrow, Versatube or Chinese lookalikes?

This one for example seems perfect but it has very bad reviews:

I don't care about snow rating....but we do get wind here.

So anyway, I was wondering if anyone had a similar issue and found a good value, well built portable garage?

Thank you.

I do not have one but having looked at the link you sent, it doesn't really look that bad. There are only 11 comments so you have to take that into consideration. One person very unhappy, one happy with most, the rest satisfied. What is get out of the reviews is that it seems you need to take your time assembling it and follow the directions carefully. Btw, if the reviews really worry you, here's another one that looks very similar (may be the same) but has better reviews. I did not compare them but they both look pretty good to me. Here's the link:

This was a timely question as I was thinking about something for next winter. Thanks for asking.

Thank you that one does look nice. I hadn't seen that one. I like that cross bar at the top. My shelterlogic ones don't have that reinforcement and they sway left to right in the wind. I'll do some research. The other thing I look at is the availability of replacement covers when they go bad some of these don't offer so I'll check it out. That one looks great.

I have not priced lumber in some time... but if I needed such an enclosure, I would build it. Conventional 2x4 framing... cover sides with T-111 ply, shingle the roof. Add in enough cross bracing across the top spanners to give it stability, etc. You can make it as temporary/permanent as you want. Circular saw and decking screws would do, although a chop saw and air nailer would be handy.

I have thought about them but the entry point would be in front of my house and not sure I would like the look of it and I also don't think my neighbors would either. If I lived in the desert, that would be a great solution though as long as you can open the doors. It is hard to get in and out of the Cayman with the door barely open.
