Really needed to lower my base 718 Cayman and speaking with a friend of mine who works for Porsche he says previous generations of Cayman's have required lots of labor because of the rear/interior trimming, am I safe to assume this is still the case for the 718 or have they somehow made it easier?

Thanks

I just did mine myself and doing it again I would say it take no more then 2hr to do and that is pushing it. That is not having a lift doing it on jack stands.
it took you two hours to install lowering springs yourself?

LOL.

I've done countless suspension installs across various models of cars over the years. I wanted nothing to do with the suspension on this car. Took it to my performance shop and had them take care of it. Some of the photos of the process immediately realized it was far more than i wanted to try and do in my home garage.

The interior trim removal isnt even half of it.

it was really not as hard as people make it out to be. you take out 5 interior parts that just unclip. You just have to get over the fact you need to unbolt the control arms. Funny thing that ride is a lot harsher then I was expecting. I knew it would be harsher but more then expected, will see how I like over time. Worst case I cut the stock ones down and swap them out.

I just received a $2300 quote for the installation of my H&R height adjustable springs and alignment here in SD. Can you guys tell me what to expect to pay for lowering this vehicle? Also, any shop recs in SoCal are welcome, thanks!
