Just a suggestion....share your location. It would be helpful when someone posts an experience with service costs, prices etc if a reader could ascertain where in the world the info is pertinent. You don’t have to post your address, but at least a country of origin or the state here in the USA would make a difference.

It's very useful -- and I, as a moderator, am automatically skeptical of someone who doesn't, or who chooses to use the location field for some other purpose. Some have a good reason to mask their location. Most don't.

I've even resorted to calling out folks on other forums for misrepresenting their location in their avatar field. When someone with an ISP in Hong Kong who's plainly using on online translator for text says they're in Brooklyn, well ... yeah, most of y'all get the gist ...

(BTW: 'Big D' = Dallas, Texas, U.S.A.)

Click on your username at the top of this page, it appears next to where it indicates when you last signed in.

It then takes you to a page where you can update personal details and allows you to update location. There is a menu of options and I think one is called ‘about you’

If I said I live near the Ares III landing site you probably wouldn't believe me.

Go to User CP (that's everybody-is-supposed-to-know-it Internet-speak for User Control Panel). You'll find all sorts of settings there.

Done.

It is very useful to know where others are from especially as just having become a first time Porsche owner. The monthly Porsche & Pancakes breakfast is also very useful both as an enjoyable social event and to be able to get others thoughts with respect to car questions. I have already perceived the Porsche owners (both in person and in the forums) seem to me to be much friendlier overall than the BMW groups I associated with for a lot of years.

Thank you for the help! I was using the app and even when I had it open in a web page, I had to convert to the desktop version before all those options became available.
