New tarmac on some places, the bump at Schwedenkreuz is gone!
Hans Friedrich Datenberg, a former mayor of Kehlberg and tax collector for Adenau, was hijacked and slain at this point in 1638 by stray Swedish soldiers. The 2.90 m cross still exists
The bump have caused some awful crashes over the years, the main problem lays in weight transfer coming in the curve after the bump.
The only way to take the bump where to the right, going left, well its not gonna end good.

And they are fixing Ex-Mühle, At last!
Already in damp conditions you have to avoid the racing line to avoid spinning in 40km/h......

A safer Nordschleife is only a good thing.
The only thing close to negative is that for a few years it will be difficult to compare laptimes pre and post changes.
Former record holders will just have to get back out on the track and set new times.

Officially your aint allowed to time your laps on touristfahren since a couple of years back.
The reason is safety, i have seen busses, transits Citroen 2cv and Trabants.
That in combo with faster cars can easily end up on youtube
But people stil times BTG as do i 0
