What's the 3rd for the Cayman?Seriously, we have two other cars besides the Cayman and the recalls are just piling up. Price we have to pay for technology I guess. /forum/images/718forum/smilies/tango_face_sad.png
Three on the Cayman, three on the wife’s Subaru and four for my Pacifica van.
Just got one today for the side airbags. What's the 3rd for the Cayman?
The NHTSA site doesn't seem very accurate. I entered my VIN and they report 0 unrepaired recalls. I know I have 2 recalls so far & none of them have been done yet.Maybe if one of you can list all the recalls on the 718 that would be helpful to the members. In addition to the issues posted above I found the following:

https://www.kbb.com/ownership/recalls/porsche/
To check your Porsche or non-Porsche enter your VIN# on this webpage:

If anyone has a better webpage for ferreting out the recalls please post. The NHTSA site doesn't seem very accurate. I entered my VIN and they report 0 unrepaired recalls. I know I have 2 recalls so far & none of them have been done yet.
Looks like our GTS is not subject to this recall. Thanks for posting.Info on the Airbag recall for the Cayman and Boxster:

I believe one option is to go to the Porsche website (if you haven't already done so), and register your car.Random question: but do we know how Porsche obtains mailing addresses for notification of the recalls? Is it based on the car registration? I ask because I purchased my 718 out-of-state, and have since moved from the address I used with the dealership. Thank you!

I was asking you guys to share your experience, because especially the engine is relatively new. I would expect to find in the forum a sticky topic of known Recalls / TSBs, but it looks there isn't any. It is much easier than to search several relevant or not so relevant topics under "718 Boxster/Cayman Issues And Problems".Please don't hijack a thread to ask a question entirely unrelated to the thread.
