Yes it's a new vehicle sold to me as new I'm the first registered owner with Porsche. They were actually able to get the car Porsche approved which got me the six year unlimited mile warranty which is nice. All in all hoping I scored a great deal on my first Porsche and hoping it's a car that will hold its value well.

Thanks! It was titled as new and "new" shows on all my paperwork, so I'm not exactly sure how he did it. It technically does not have the 6-year warranty as of today. He said at my first 10,000 mile service that's when they will add the additional warranty because they have to complete some paperwork to do that but they can't do it until after I've had the car. So, I'm not 100% sure how it works. But they have all of the documentation for the 6-year unlimited mileage warranty on the "we owe" sheet that I signed. All in all I'm pleased. Enjoying the car so far! (Don't mind the torn up grass, as I'm in the process of reseeding).

This is exactly the situation that allowed me to get a new 2018 718. Been sitting on the dealer lot for a year and a half. They just wanted to get it off the lot. Great deal, brand new and about the same mileage as yours. First Porsche and couldn't be happier.

Greetings 718 Forum members! I find myself in a wonderful position to own my first Porsche due to some immense luck. The question is - which? Given the opportunity, which Certified Pre-Owned would you choose in the $50k range in the northeast United States climate: 718? Panamera?

I welcome your perspective, recommendations, and watch-outs!

When I was shopping for a CPO, the questioned I faced was a non-CPO 911 Carrera 4S MY16 w. (IIRR) 18k mi vs my Cayman S MY18 CPO w. 11.5k mi. A wash in terms of price, miles, I like CPO but not the defining factor. I chose the Cayman S based on the road behavior, agility, looks.

A 911 Carrera 4 with relatively low miles would be a good fit for the Northeast, but you will not find a CPO at that range.

Of course, if you need a sedan, the point is moot.
