We have a 2019 base Cayman and looking to see if anyone else has been able to set the multifunction steering wheel button to the start/stop function. We have found the correct place to set and some options are the same as the manual, bit start/stop not listed. Maybe this is new to 2019, if so I would be interested if pre 2019 cars have this available or not?

I don have sports chrono, but do have multi-function wheel with the programmable button - are you suggesting the start/stop function is only selectable if you have the chrono option? it does not read like that in the manual, but that could explain why its missing.

That function is to stop and start the chronometer (timer). It's not related to the engine auto off feature if that's perhaps what you are thinking.
