I love the color although I haven't seen it in person. Folks on the 992 forum on Rennlist have commented on how much the metallic flakes pop, which is a similar phenomenon to what I've seen on Papaya Orange, but is sadly missing from Carrara White. The best similar color I've experienced is Mineral White on BMWs, I had it on an M4. It was epic, but it was very much white. This color is very similar to that but is still grey/silver.

Like I said I love it and can't wait to see more of this color on the road.
Closest I had to it was Hockenheim Silver on my M2C...

So today arrived, after another evening with zero sleep. It feels like the 80's again and I knew there was an "Astro Wars" under the tree with my name on it.

Literally 30 mins to do paper work and hand over a bag of used 50's. Activate the tracker, get introduced to the principle all while standing there hyped up like you wouldn't believe....

She's off for PPF tomorrow so I won't be able to give any great insight on driving it etc but I'll do the best I can to answer any queries.
That colour is fantastic. My Python Green is great and i'll never lose it in a car park but if i hadn't gone for that it would have been Crayon.

Sad I know, but I do try to have a visit to any local Porsche centre where I then am.
this one in Shanghai where I fell in love with this particular car, well the colour tbh.
interestingly also, the very nice people there offered to let me take a test drive which after seeing the madness on the roads politely declined - do wish I did it now Tbh 😎
again, sad but I do rather enjoy nipping in, having a coffee and looking at the P-Porn on offer.

Looking good. They guys at SCC are excellent and I'm sure you'll be happy with Craigs work.

If you find any issues on your first wash, take note of them and when you go back for your check up, Craig will sort them for you. If you're going for a stick on front plate, drop me a PM and I'll send you a link to where I got mine from. Slightly smaller than a standard plate but still legal with all the correct BS AU markings. Fitting the stick on plate takes patience but once on they are the danglies.

Craig will probably have gone through upkeep of your PPF and ceramic but if you need any further help, give me a shout. I'd also invest in some Zunsport grilles. I've a discount code if you need one.

Cheers mate,

I'm definitely on for the Zunsport grilles. It might have to wait till December. Saw Petrol Peds vid on his install and they looked mint.

Craig did go through a lot with me, a thorough professional and I'm very happy I followed your recommendation!

If you will have full PPF, please drop some close pictures about how they did around/below the bandes in the back
Thanks
Not sure what you mean by bandes but I'll guess you mean where the wrap doesn't go behind a panel?

Here's some close ups...

With hindsight I should have done the whole of the rear panel but figured the side would be OK.

Craig at SCC did highlight that a small "pocket" can act as a dust trap along an edge where film ends and paint begins.

I can't wash it for a while yet so I'll see if I can clear out that pocket in a couple of weeks
