Thanks for your comment!
can you please share your build with me and any photos of your car?
thanks
Thanks for your comment! The general recommendation is that if you are a regular track junkie, then stick to the steel brakes if possible, as the CC rotors are painfully expensive to replace. For fun track days, it's ok.
For street, CC brake advantage is less brake dust and much lower unsprung mass what helps with comfort and steering.
My wife really wanted to push me to have PCCB as it looks good to her![]()

thank you I’m going to make some changes for the final build. The one I submitted to the dealership this past Thursday they are going to let me change.Just reviewed your build. It's fantastic. I see you are doing the rear wing and window trim in black. I also did that to add some contrast. I suggest you consider the door handles as well.
Those aurum wheels intimidate me though. Have you seen them to be sure of how they'll match up with the arctic grey?
I would otherwise wimp out and go with a platinum wheel. The shade is closer to aurum in depth--- neither as shiny as silver or as bold as black. If platinum seems too boring consider the Carrera Sports. Their polished edges add back a bit of pop to an admittedly quiet color.
Will do SirWell, make sure you post that final build for us so can salivate over it with you.......
I did this on a white image for better detail. I'm having full front PPF and the rocker and quarter area around the side vent - there's a split line for the panel above the ventI’m curious to know how many people here have PPF or some other type of paint treatment ?

since the body flares out behind the door, any grit driving in rain or roads with grit can kick up and chip that area around the side vent. This will avoid any seams and would be one piece

in my instance - the installer comes to the dealer and will do several cars in their service areathanks for the post!
is this something we do at the dealership afterwards or do we bring it somewhere else and get it done?
how much does this typically cost?
thanks
Perfect coverage save for one question: Can't the paint behind the rear wheel get dinged, or is the shape of the body such that it is unlikely?

Also, putting the ceramic on the uncovered paint probably would cost as much as doing full PPF. The new top-line PPF's incorporate hydrophobic properties so you wouldn't have to worry about adding the cost of coating the film.
