$55k with CPO seems reasonable to me.

It appears the 981 GTS model, in particular, is holding value VERY well. It feels to me that it might be even harder to negotiate on the 981 GTS versus the 718. Have you driven both? As I’m sure you already know, they deliver power very differently (and sound differently too!). Good luck!hahaha true that. However this 981 gts has been on the lot 9 months and the Miami blue 718 had just been traded in when i put the offer for it. It is a super clean car (98k mrsp asking 68k) but when i looked at sold listings on BAT etc. similar priced cars sell for 60-62k. I offered 64k to them and they came down by 600$! So it's an odd situation, do you know whats a good way to start negotiations back again? The car is still available.
I’m seeing $65k+ across CarGurus on the 981 GTS. I find I’m often too polite when negotiating.I drove several 718s and this 981 GTS. And would say that I prefer the driving characteristics of the 718 by a small margin (they are very similar) but the sound of the 981 makes up for the difference, for me at least. I looked up prices and even posted in another forum and it seems these don't sell for much more than 60k right now. Im not sure how to go about this, my online research seems to suggest these are overpriced but in reality my experience is very different when I try to negotiate. And I am always polite and gentle in how I interact with sales people so that's not a factor either.
