Saw a post here recently of a blown turbo at 10k miles. My car has been flawless so far at 5500 miles. Anyone have a moment when they thanked their luck stars they had coverage ?

34,000km on my 2017 S. Only warranty claim I ever made was for the AC not blowing cold on hot days in the summer. This was a known issue and there was a service bulletin for it (just software I think). Other than that, just regular maintenance. I try to do 10-15 track days a year so it definitely gets a workout.

Coolent sensor on the early models up to 2017 (?), the engine needs to be pulled.
There is a bulletine on it.

Cold A/C air warms until it’s blowing exterior ambient temperature...and droplets of water. Time for warranty work.

Yup, exact issue I had. I noticed a slight wet spot in the passenger footwell 1 time and I think it was some kind of condensation/drain for the AC. Never noticed it since.

Sorry, don't have a number for you. I got the car in June 2017 and I took it to the dealer in July 2018 I think. By then they knew of the issue and didn't need any additional info from me.

Nothing yet as of 8400 miles but am taking it in next week for them to look at a vibration on one of the trim panels somewhere behind the driver's side seat belt and a strange oily smell I am getting in the cabin.

I had a bad fit on the passenger's door. If you rolled the passenger's window down, then up, then opened the door, the window kind of got stuck behind the rubber. You had to really push to open. Fixed with no hassle or expense. 2018 Cayman GTS.

So far I’ve had

- New PDK techatronic unit. As a result of a R gear fault code.

- New black exhaust tips as a result of pitting and corrosion.
