I’ve just joined the forum. I picked up a new 2018 718 Cayman GTS 6weeks ago, Agate grey, Carmine red GTS leather pack, PDK. Changed from a much loved BMW M4. Loved the M4, a thug of a car, but the Cayman is awesome, I love it. The balance, the grip, it almost feels 4WD. Much less twitchy than the M4, less power than the M4 but the GTS puts the power down more effectively than the M4. I also actually love the noise with the sport exhaust. My neighbour has a 981 Boxster S and the 718 is as loud. They both sound great, he and I can’t decide which sounds better. The overruns and blood are great.

I test drove a C63S Coupe, a new RS5 (that I almost bought) and an F Type S 400. All great cars, but the Cayman was a step above all of them, more visceral, more of an event, definitely more of a looker.
