Like many people on this forum, I have been dreaming of owning a Porsche for many years. A few months ago, I was fortunate enough to find a 2018 base Boxster with a manual transmission and only 1500 miles. The first 500 miles were extremely difficult but I was able to keep it under 4000 RPMs to follow the break-in procedure. At 2001 miles, I was on a straight stretch of interstate and was able to hit 7000 on the tach. It hit 73° F yesterday in Kansas City and hopefully we will have better convertible weather going forward!!

Why after passing 7000, do I often fall to pull the PDK paddle before bouncing off the rev limiter? Must be getting old ?
