Hello from southern Ca, purchased my 718 Cayman December 31. It is a 2017 with 3500 miles.
This 2.0 flat 4 turbo is really fun to drive. Reminds me of my Nsx. This is my first Porsche, have wanted one since childhood. Looking forward to increasing my knowledge through this site.

You say your car sits lower than others, could it be that your car is actually fitted with Sports PASM? That would account for it, as the ride height is reduced by 20mm.

Welcome from another So. Cal. owner of a graphite blue metallic 718C 6MT. Many years ago I got to drive a friend's brand new NSX. His was one of the first in So. Cal. It was an amazing car. And so is the 718. The more I drive it the more I am amazed by its capabilities, and I have the base car with the base suspension and 18 inch wheels.

Congrats on your acquisition, and many happy (and safe) miles.

Very tempting. I will definitely look into it.

I did the NASCAR experience at the California Speedway about 18 months ago with a group from my office. It was okay. I am glad I did it, but I don't feel the need to do it again. As we were leaving we saw the cart track so we decided to run some laps there. That was an absolute blast! When you are sitting inches off the ground and surrounded by other carts, 30 MPH seemed so much faster than the 150 we were doing in the NASCAR cars on a wide open track.

Your car looks great! Looks like the previous owner lowered it, the non S Cayman PASM option is 10mm lower vs 20mm on the S, but that is definitely lower than even the 20mm PASM! The stance is awesome though, these cars take on a whole different attitude when they sit lower than regular. And the Graphite Blue with black wheels looks awesome, I bet this car looks incredible in person. Congratulations!

Chris
