Was/can anything done to program the battery charge rate? (Marry the Lithium to car)
Lithium’s usually require a different charge rate than an AGM battery.
Also, does Antigravity have a built in BMS for short & drain down protection?

The carry does not require programming to use lithium batteries. It’s just plug and play.

Yes it is, sorry for the delay haven’t been on the forum in a while. To answer one of the above question I installed it myself, literally took out old one, installed new one, closed lid and drove away. Nothing needs to be married or software adjusted. Easiest and biggest bang for the buck!

Not sure about BMS but if not driven very much you need a specific charger for lithium which Antigravity sells. The battery has two ways to jump start if dead, one is pushing button on battery itself but why Would you. Battery comes with two jump start key fobs so just push the button on one of the key fobs and engine starts. Why more enthusiasts don’t do this mod is a mystery. Id have to spend 3k on titanium exhaust to get the same weight savings this battery provides.

Regarding the charge rate, the LiFePO4 chemistry can be charged at a significantly higher rate compared to . However the battery BMS handles all of this (as well as SOC min/max) for you so no reprogramming or changes on the vehicle side are required.

Krauty: Add to this that the weight you save with the battery is front and up high in the car. You can feel weight savings there. I'm nutty over why the stock batteries are so massive and high up in a sports car.
