Hi All. I joined the forum when I ordered the Cayman back in August. I took delivery on Thursday - A base model in Sapphire Blue with the full Black and Crayon leather interior - I did hit the options list fairly hard!

I'm taking it to Ultimate Finish for the Gtechniq CS Black treatment, plus the leather, wheels and glass protection. I asked the dealer not to valet the car before I picked it up*, so it's still covered with the white delivery film and looks a bit odd - until next Monday anyway!
(* Glad I did as I saw the paintwork on a brand new Macan was getting the full (industrial) pressure washer treatment from about 6" away )

Happy New Year to you all.

Very prudent to take care of the detailing on your own. On my next Porsche I will have it delivered wrapped from the factory, and have a local detailer do the paint correction then apply a PPF.
Congratulations on your new Porsche.....man is it allot of fun.
An excellent exterior color - the best choice really!
I thought Ultimate Finish were just suppliers of products. Do they carry out the detailing services themselves as well?

I'm getting my new 718CGTS in a couple of months and am looking to find someone to apply the Gtechniq treatment to it.

Hope you are enjoying your new toy!

I love that colour! I think it suits the car very well. Had my other car not been dark blue, would have totally gone for that (picked Rhodium silver, which doesn't seem to be a popular choice, but I love it because it has a blue tint in it, hah!). Do you have any pics by any chance? How are you getting on with the car?
