I've been lusting after Porsche's for as long as I can remember and especially the iconic 911. But once the Boxster came onto the scene, I finally felt like it was something I could get my hands on. But I was looking for a non-convertible. Enter the Cayman.

When I came across the 718 Cayman, I was hooked! I've spent the past 6+ months keeping an eye on all the CPOs in my area and finally this past weekend I was able to find and buy a 718 Cayman! I had to travel to NY (about 200 miles away from home) to find it though.

It's a 2018 718 Cayman Base in white. I will be taking possession of it by the end of next week and will post pictures of it at that time.

Regards

If the timeline sticks, I should take possession of it on Thursday, but alas with it being Winter here for the next couple of months, I'll have to wait until March at the earliest to really enjoy driving it.

Congrats, on the new ride. I feel your pain. My 2019 cayman gts is sitting on the showroom floor till April. Winter in Maine. YUK!!! The days are going by slowly for the both of us. Hopefully you can be on the road by March. Now you can start buying accessories while you wait.

Keeping a very close eye on the weather calendar and hoping to get it on the road in March if it's just rain. And yes, already eyeing a bunch of accessories and things I would like to do. Top on the list is getting the windows tinted.

Welcome!

That's exactly what I have.

I am also basically a first time Porsche owner and I can guarantee you'll love it.

Weather here in northeast is snowy today (I'm in northern NJ), but Spring will be here before we know it!
