New to 718s, a Return to Porsche...

HI,
I am Cash Snively from Ponte Vedra, Florida.... and I am so happy to have just gotten my 4.0 GTS.
She is Adventurine Green with a great Expresso & Cognac interior, 18 way seats, and a manual transmission. I was told this combo is no longer available, so I count myself double lucky to have mine. This is my first New Porsche. It is #6 in a string from the early 80's, and includes a 65', 83' & 84' 911s; a 914 and a 944 Turbo. My 83' SC was my favourite car of them, and I built this one to replace those memories - I sold that car out of Flight School in 1987, and she is still with the same owner - I even visited her in my quest to find my perfect Porsche. I am a retired MIlitary/Gov't type, and moved over 20 times, so holding onto my cars was always a challenge. This GTS is absolutely my LAST Porsche (the wife can have her own). We did European Delivery, and that is another topic - suffice it to say it took me 45 years to return to the Porsche factory, having gone with an Army friend back in 1978. Glad to have found the Forum, and looking forward to many tours and twisties in the new ride. Awaiting a new Plate for her that says MID ENGN....
