Hi Farticus - Welcome.
Keep us posted. There are quite a few Europeans and Brits on the forum so you're not alone. A couple of us UK based owners are expecting our new cars too over the next couple of weeks.
How long did you have to wait for your car? When did you put in the oder?

The amazing thing is i only placed the order a few days ago so i hope the dealer isn't fibbing.
They say delivery should be last week of November or first week of December.
They claim to have jumped on an available slot from Porsche uk.

I have a 718 Boxster due for collection on the 23rd Nov
whats the spec of you Cayman? I am assuming on an order that quick it must of been an allocation order which the OPC had already placed.... If not WOW I will have some of whatever your having lol

I was able to configure to to my exact spec.
Not too many extras, only £6000 worth !!!!......... Soooo many thing are extras with Porsche.
I can't remember exactly how the dealer explained the build slot other than that it was available.
I'm waiting for more exact dates so i will keep you posted.

UK here to, put my order in early September. Mine should be here mid Dec with a bit of luck, it should roll out of the factory on the 21st Nov
Can not wait, quite a few Brits waiting now. Shoiuld have a good set of photos over the next month or so.

Farticus congrats! I thought I had an order going swiftly, but not as quickly as yours. At the beginning of October, I managed to hijack an order the dealer made for a base Cayman and change all the particulars to the few I wanted, basically agate grey metallic, standard black interior, Sport Chrono package, PASM, Sport Tailpipes in black, Entry&Drive, Apple CarPlay and Smartphone Compartment. It went V215 on Oct. 10, V250 on Oct. 24th, and yesterday popped out of the factory as V300! So hopefully off to Emden soon. Then it should be in Houston by mid December and to the dealership by Dec. 28th, although the sales guy I was talking with thought it might be sooner (I'm an optimist, but no one can out optimize a sales guy)!

@Ulysse0 7 months is a long time in my eyes. I was just inlucky that I walked into the OPC just after they had shut the books for the WLTP stoppage. Either way I can't wait. One more week.
There seem to be a couple of us expecting UK delivered 718s. I'm south east based. If there are enough of us we could try a meet up at Beaulieu - Simply Porsche - 2 June 2019. If there are a couple of us we can try to get a reserved and specific parking area. Just an idea
