Having been a C2 and C3 owner years ago, I seriously looked at C7 Vette's and joined a popular forum a few months ago knowing I wanted to unload my 2010 Boxster. Lot's of issues with the C7, especially the AT and, oddly, bent wheels. This left me more than concerned. We went out and drove both an MT and AT and decided we wanted an AT. This after owning the 2010 MT Boxster since 2010. Still concerned with long term reliability of the C7 I looked up the local Porsche dealership, where we bought the current one used, on the 'net to see what they had used and there it was. A 2017 Boxster S with 4700 miles in exactly the color combo we wanted as well as being optioned right, for us. This is a PDK car and the first drive was **** pleasing with it being much faster than I expected and it just felt right. Out with the old and in with the new.

Congratulations, and I definitely think you dodged a bullet by not getting a C7. If you have an interest in a vet you're betting off waiting to see what they deliver with the new mid engine C8. Car looks great, glad to hear you're pleased with how it drives.

Beautiful 718! Any issues with sunlight reflection off that light colored dashboard?
Nothing that I have noticed. I drove it over to the Xpel in nearby San Antonio today and made an appointment for the front end treatment for next week. It's been tough as about a week earlier, after two years, I finally got my restomod 73 Mach 1 on the road. With a 427 Dart Windsor, Tremec 5 speed, coil over front end, etc., it runs crazy well. Tough decisions.:)

1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 ... basically considered the least-desirable of all of the Mustangs (no offense, OP) with the possible exception of the Mustang II that replaced it in 1974.

In 1970, Ford made the mistake of trying to turn the first-gen Mustang into basically a two-door luxury cruiser. Safety regulations started to affect weight and powertrains that year in U.S. cars ... then the OPEC oil crisis hit in 1973. Because of all of that, these '73s (and especially early '74s) sold so poorly that they're now semi-collector's items because there's simply not many around. The OP's made some impressive mods to bring this one 'up to snuff'. >:D

With the 427 came a five speed Tremec, a Street or Track front coil over suspension, a Vintage Air serpentine front dive, modern A/C, Dakota Digital instruments. The original 9" rear end houses 3:50 Tack Lock gears. It drives like a new car and not just '73 new. I have 200 miles on it now and am being gentle until 500 per MacLoad and Tremec as the motor was broken in and tuned on the dyno. Lets just say even being gentle keeping rubber from spinning has been a problem.
