Hey gang, another new guy checking in from CO. I don't currently own a 718, but I'm considering picking one up. Our current stable consists of a Tacoma, 4Runner (both 4WD) and my two 'fun' cars - a 2004 WRX STi and a 2016 Shelby GT350. The GT350 is a blast, but my wife hates riding in it and it's a lot of car for the street. As such, I'm contemplating selling the STi and trading the GT350 on a 718 Cayman. I've driven both a 718 Boxster (manual) & 718 Boxster S (PDK) and both were fantastic. The 718 would not be my first Porsche. Prior to the Shelby, I owned a 40th Anniversary edition 911.

Hi...I'm also a newbie to the forum. Welcome. I reside in Maine. I was planning on purchasing the 718 gts but could not resist the gt4, which I'm eagerly waiting for. Regarding your choice, I think you'll be pleased.

Thanks & excellent choice. The 981 GT4 is a great car & I'm sure the 718 will be even better.

Welcome to the forum! I suppose you'll need to trade something to make room in the garage for the 718, though I don't envy your current conundrum.
Thanks! First world problems, right? :)

If you're looking for more insight, I welcome good conversation. I am open for a PM anytime.

I'm at Prestige.
Prestige is where I test drove the 718s. Both of the SAs I worked with were knowledgeable, passionate about the brand and just good guys. In addition to the 718s, I drove a 981 Boxster S. I submitted an offer for that car, but we were too far apart on price and I decided to go another route. Regardless, everyone I worked with was professional & I'd definitely recommend the dealership.

I'll hit you up sometime.
