If you are a newbie with regards to DE events then you don't need to make any adjustments at all to the car. You'll be in the green beginner group. I'd focus on getting used to track driving, hitting your marks, and being smooth. Speed and car mods can come later. The 718 is a great car and can easily be tracked with no adjustments at all.

I agree but I also would not discourage safety mods regardless of the driver's experience.

Do you have PASM? 10 or 20mm? PDK or MT? Each organization/track will generally stipulate their track requirements. Do you have stock seats? As has been already stated you can always add additional safety to your car however that can get expensive. I have yet to find a "clip in" 4,5 or 6 pt harness to the factory seat anchor points. I am trying not to make any mods for the occasional track day.
