Seems a lot like Tanzanite Blue on BMWs. There are great photos online of the color on sunny days but in person in anything but direct sun I found it a bit bland.

I have a Gentian GTS as well as a tanzanite F80 M3. Tanzanite is a little darker in person than gentian. Both colors are fantastic in the sun.

I think he was comparing tanzanite to night blue, not gentian.

True, but all good. Gentian would be my choice! Looks like Marina Bay Blue.

I opted for the brighter Genitan Blue and am in love with it. IMO, night blue is more subtle and can pass for black, whereas Gentian still appears a shade of blue. Here's a few pics of mine with various types of lighting for comparison:

Is the interior the black/chalk? That is the perfect combo with Gentian or Night Blue. The blue top is perfect with either color, too.

Just realised I haven't updated this thread. My latest news is that my car has left the factory in Germany today and is on its way to the UK. I went with Shark Blue in the end. I also had a GTS for testing all day Saturday which was amazing, lost for words to be honest.

It's quite stunning in the sun, but for me, I didn't want to have to strain to see it. I went with Shark Blue. Best of luck!

Night Blue is indeed, stunning in the sun. I prefer Miami Blue in low light, but Night Blue in the sun.

I bought night blue, so I am partial, and it is a very different blue im sun and shadow, but Miami is sharp too. And the gts is very invigorating!

Night blue is the best color currently available that shows the lines of the car when polished. It makes the car seems super sexy and tight "toight, toight like tiger" - austin powers

As far as the configurator is currently concerned, that is the only color being ended for 2022 model production.
