I purchased a CPO base Cayman in the fall of 2018. It had an oil change prior to my receiving it (I presume the 10k service). I drove out of the dealer with 11,500mi on the odometer. I now have 14,000+-. My car is telling me to "Change the oil in 6,000 miles/6 days.

I'm inclined to pick the mileage over the time recommendation.

Any problems with that?

Cheers,

Mike

It sounds like the last service was in June 2018. When I first read your post, I assumed it was changed just before you picked it up.
I agree with sobiloff and would keep the maintenance schedule.
The first year I had a Porsche I also took a job with a train commute and could only manage 6000 of pleasure driving. I felt probably like you do, that I'm not getting my money's worth from the maintenance. I try to plan roadtrips into my schedule now. Montreal during a snow storm or New Orleans during a humid summer, either way works.
