What is normal oil pressure on the 718? new and up to 1000 miles it never got above 35 psi up to 4000 rpm. usually stayed in the 20-28 range. this is warmed up--water and oil both 190+ degrees.
after a long trip and currently at 2200 miles, i am getting much higher readings. low range is 28-32. higher rpm up to 4000 rpm, 40-48 and occasionally 67 psi at a higher rpm.
no problems, but i am surprised at the differences.

Great post and timely. I was amazed this evening, pressing on a little that the pressure was 58 psi (4 bar). Normally, cruising around I tend to see around 2.7 bar (39 psi). I have done over 3k miles so far.

These engines move a lot of oil to lubricate and cool. Higher RPM more heat and more lubing needed - higher oil pressure for same.

I’ve noticed when warmed up my 2019 S is low 20s and goes up fairly quickly under throttle. To about 30-40s or so. I thought low 20s was pretty low but not too concerned. Just past 2000 miles now.
