First of all, let me express my joy in finding a good old web forum.
Facebook groups are ok but most of them are just for people to show off and the discussions tend to be superficial.
Most of things I know about cars, I learnt from forums and DIY, so congrats!

Now about me:
Petrol head since I was born and a Porsche fan from early childhood.
Born in Lisbon, Portugal and living in Warsaw, Poland since 2017.
Always wanted to own a Porsche but only now things look going the right direction to fulfil this "dream".

I've always had cars with a little more of salt and pepper (Fiat Stilo Abarth, MINI Cooper S R53, currently MINI Cooper S R56 and BMW Z4 E85 which I sold couple od weeks ago) and I'm truly curious to understand what is so special about Porsche cars, namely Boxster/Cayman.
I'm looking for a second hand 718 base model and I'm inclined to Cayman rather than Boxster due to lower price although I loved my Z4 so this is something yet to decide.
Planning to attack the market in the second half of next year, so this gives me 1+ year to study the market and learn about the car.

I hope to learn from you and if possible provide valuable contribution to the forum.

Welcome.
The 718s are (IMO) amazing, my Boxster gets driven mostly for fun and it's still fun after 3 years. The top is down most of the time—even if I need the heat on. 😃
Caution: studying the market is fun, but driving is more fun!

Thanks for your input Greg.

I bet they are fun.
I just had front engine cars so for me a mid engine car is something completely new.

I’ll check a manual trans Cayman next Friday and hopefully I’ll be able to drive it.
