Not entirely news, but worth reading all the news in a reasonable package. The title is misleading, this is not exactly what Blume said.

I think Porsche is definitely in the right direction. Although EV's are only a small portion of the car market today, they are looking at electromobility and sustainability seriously. I listened to Oliver Blume speak in San Jose a couple years ago and they were serious about it back then as well. I'm proud that they are. As much as I love petrol engines and I prefer them, I'm still looking at their Taycan and future sports cars with electrification as possibilities as well. The Taycan is amazing to drive and I had a blast with their demo vehicle. I still prefer the 718 because of the mechanical feeling of the car, the engine behind your head, etc, but still great to see Porsche marching forward.
