Hit Daytona open track this morning just to watch since its only 30 minutes from the house. Plenty of P cars, ranging from stock to heavily modified, vintage to new. Saw forum member @ex stig there. He was making his S sing high notes! Vettes and mustangs were common. Some IMSA folks were also taking advantage of the open date. Good to see folks taking their cars to the limits of engineering. I have no photos because the skies were cloudy with sporadic light rain.

Sounds fun! I'll be at Daytona for the 24 Hours in January - it's a fun track for fans, too.

it was nice to meet you and a blast again this year! i didn't take many photos this year but i'll post a few in this thread. one of the highlights for me was seeing a mint lotus esprit turbo straight out of james bond. friday and sunday were great, lots of rain on saturday. ran into the same problem as last year when over 155 and on the banking (see my other thread in here) and one more this year - drove the weights off my wheels had to take all 4 off and run them over to pepboys sunday morning to get rebalanced and retaped
