I would recommend also looking for some lightly used 718 GTSs at dealerships. Try to find a vehicle that is close to the car you would spec. This will avoid that significant 1st year depreciation. I know many people go into the Porsche Brand thinking this going to my first and last Porsche but tastes change and by going with a lightly used vehicle you get a great deal and leave yourself room to manuevere if you see another Porsche model that you would like to own.

Very true! Unfortunately finding a used 718gts is very rare. In fact there’s only one that I’ve found and is more than some of the new lower spec cars out there.

I am going to you give you advice that I find hard to follow.....be patient. It takes about 6 months after the order is placed to get your new Porsche, and in that time, there will be CGTSs for sale for a variety of reasons but not to infrequently because the owner wants a new toy.

If you do not have patience, which is understandable, check to see what GTS models are sitting on dealer lots. You can typically get 6% or better for cars already on lots. South Florida Porsche dealers have several GTS Boxsters and Caymans in their inventory, Porsche West Broward and Champion are two dealers with GTS models available.
