My car came with P Zeros. I've been running them cold at 33 for street. I've also got a DE coming up and wondering what others have found to be the right pressures to be running under both of those conditions. I plan on getting track tires and wheels fairly soon, but this is what I've got for now. I did a good amount of track time at PEC, so I hope to be running a few decent laps, but have no idea where to start with tire pressures. I get up to 38 with spirited street driving, but my gut tells me that's a little high.

Thanks

I don't have those tires, but with my Michelin PS4 having them at 36 psi after a track run works well. Any higher than that they get slippery. I'd start at 30 psi all round, then adjust as necessary. it will depend on your driving style and the ambient temps. After a run check the pressures and if they are high and you felt the car sliduing around near the end of the sessoion, then try lowering them a few psi. You will need to do multiple sessions to see what works well for you.

Take a look at this, it's for the tropheo tires, adjust according the recommended pressures in the car manual for your P zero's

Wow, .4 bar is almost 6 psi. Thanks for that link. I'm inspired to start experimenting with my street levels and see how it goes.

When I was at PEC, both of the CGTSs I drove had P Zeros, and I wish I had checked the TPMS gauge to see what they were at when cold.

I've been doing what @RussellHodgson suggested on track. Start at 30 and adjust. I've found that it varies all day long. You definitely don't want to get too high on the pressure though. It gets surprisingly slippery and dangerous when it's too high!

30psi sounds about right as a starting point. Depends how aggressively you're going to me driving.. The more aggressive the less cold pressure. They will feel a little squirmy until they get up to temp.
