Here is a video of some laps at Palmer Motorsports Park from my PCA track day on 6-9-19.

Clear lap times were around the 2:00 mark.


Surprisingly my top speed here was 126 mph, which was 1 mph slower than what I did at Lime Rock. Shows just how fast Lime Rock is even though it is a short track.

nice video. what camera and mount do you use? my ram-mount on the windshield vibrates way too much for my liking in videos.

I use a GoPro mounted on this https://shop.gopro.com/mounts/jaws/ACMPM-001.html (without the neck). I clip it to the bar just behind the seats.


I run an external mic from the GoPro to the lower part of the rear trunk. That keeps it out of the wind and gets the engine noise quite well.


I'd like a way to get tire noise to be louder, but haven't figured that one out yet.

For some reason I'm getting an error on the video. I had my 718 CS up to palmer last month as well with scda. One of my favorite tracks and well suited to the cayman. interesting my best clear laps were roughly 2:01 as well (had some issues with harry's being accurate). Is there a name to search on regular youtube to see the videos, I'd be eager to watch. I'll also try and post some of mine but it wasn't catching individual laps so all the videos are like 15 min clumps.
