..yellow warning appeared on the MFD this morning. The car had been parked for 3 days which isn't unusual so I called it in. I dropped it off and it appeared that the mechanism hadn't been set correctly leaving the factory. 20 minute job to get it fixed. On driving away the release was more pronounced than before. I'll monitor this jerky release for the next couple of days as I don't fancy eating my pads and rotors by driving off with the parking brake engaged.

This exact problem was in my 981. It went back for numerous calibrations until they got it right. I noticed it appeared after I parked on any sort of incline...

I had the same issue, but the warning light went away after turning off the car. Mine was parked in my garage and I rarely pull away without manually releasing the parking brake. Dealer saw the error in the logs, but didn't do anything to fix it. Hasn't occurred a second time, though.
