Has anyone else had an issue with their electronic parking brake? Went to the grocery store last night and when I went to disengage the parking brake nothing happened. Pulled the level a few times, no go. I put the car in gear and slowly gave it gas so the "intent to drive" feature kicked in and the parking brake disengaged automatically. Drove home no issues, I did notice a small knocking noise around the rear driver side when I was on a steep incline at 5-10 mph speed. I parked and put the brake back on, and it still does not release. I'm thinking this is an electrical issue? Any ideas? Thanks!

Fwiw, I've had the parking brake actuator replaced. The difference was that a warning came on on the right hand binnacle with a yellow warning that the brake needed servicing
So that's what that yellow warning is. I've had this pop up intermittently. I've also had occasions where my parking break appeared to be "off" when I was sure I engaged it when I las shut the car down. Sounds like this might be a common issue.

Update: Actually I just looked at the warning lights in the manual and what I have been occasionally seeing is not the parking warning light. According to the manual that is a yellow "P". Looked at all the warnings in the manual and I can't find what I'm seeing

So it turns out it was faulty wiring, if you practically pulled the lever off it would disengage. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the switch under warranty. I didn’t have any warning lights at any point

I have not been able to determine this. I can't find the warning symbol anywhere in the manual. It's yellow, looks like a truncated pyramid with a slash through it. It also looks like there is a leg sticking off to one side near the bottom of the symbol. It's NOT the PSM failure light. Whatever it is, it only shows up prior to starting the car, and is off when the car is running. I haven't had it pop up in some time now. It happened about 3 times months ago when the car was new. If it happens again, I will take a picture of it and post.

The only thing I've got that looks anything like that description is the seat belt light--it's red on my car.

Pretty sure it’s the automatic engine start/stop warning light.
