I'm pretty sure this has been discussed in the far past, but I can't locate the thread so I'll ask again. I've driven a total of 200 miles since collection and most of that has been on back roads 35-55 mph. I seems that the transmission is having a hard time deciding which gear to be in - it bounces up and down with the slightest throttle or lift and seems to bog more than I expected (6th at 35 mph). I suppose Sport mode might improve this, but would like to know more about driving in non-Sport mode. Does this smooth out with more miles on the clock?

Keep it above 2500 rpm is what I've been told to do with all the Porsches I've owned going back to a 356. My 718 is my first automatic so I never drive it with sport off. Keep it in sport. If the revs drop below 2500 a pull on that lever behind the left side of the steering wheel will drop it a gear.
