Also try this. Touch the device manager icon, lower left on the PCM. That will show you a list of attached devices. I believe you can then delete them from the PCM's memory.

On the actual phone to be removed, go to bluetooth, find the headunit,
press on info symbol and select "Forget this device."
Can’t, there legacy devices from previous owner...

I know it is possible to delete a phone entry because I had to delete my SA's phone from my car. I just had to dig through my memory since it has been a while. A quick review of the Good To Know app pointed me in the right direction. Porsche seems not very consistent in how to change various settings in the car. Sometimes you push this button, sometimes you push that one, sometimes you touch an on-screen button, sometimes you just raise your left hand and whistle.

Resetting the PCM won't do it. If it did it would also forget all the connections you want to save. And the Device Manager, which I suggested earlier, seems to be about managing the entries which exist, not about changing them.

The way to do (I think, without doing it again myself) it is to bring up Phone from the Home screen and push the Opt button. You may also be able to push the Opt button from the Device Manager screen. From there you may have to push some other buttons, such as select an entry and first and touch delete, or raise your left hand and whistle.

Starting from the PCM's "HOME" (button) screen:
1) Select "Phone"
2) Press the PCM's "OPT" button, then on subsequent menus ...
3) Select "Set Phone"
4) Select "Bluetooth"
5) Select "Bluetooth Devices"
6) Select the phone you wish to delete from the list
7) Select "Delete"
After a few moments the phone list will reappear, now without the phone you just deleted.

Hope this helps!

Thank you very much! I'm not sure I would have ever found that. 🙂

i’m going to add a little clarification to this. You must click the name of the phone and not the Bluetooth not connected icon on the right. I can’t tell you how many times I kept clicking that and was not getting the desired result.

If I understand your question, this is from the Porsche - Good to know App:
Thanks for the reply. Sorry, no I don't mean remove previously paired devices I mean not functional. I don't want the module in the car period. I don't want the car/module sending any signals to from anything. It will always be trying to pair with something and be sending signals IE SEARCHING FOR OTHER KNOWN DEVICES. I want that DNA destroying tech out of the car. If I'm driving a Porsche and I need to take a phone call on a trip something is seriously wrong with my life and my planning is horrific. My cell stays in a faraday bag while on the road, communication is FROM me, not to me. MONTANA DOES NOT REQUIRE A "hands free" device, interestingly enough the speaker function is pretty much hands free.
