I will getting my 2018 CS soon, it does not have Apple car play, but I am wondering with my phone connected via Bluetooth will it still pull up my songs to be able to play them?

If it connects with bluetooth it should be okay. I can play music from my android phone via bluetooth just fine. I don't know if you need some option to connect via bluetooth or whether it is a standard feature.

FWIW, I've copied must of the stuff I/we listen to over to the jukebox, and it gets just about all my/our listening time.

Yes, connection through Bluetooth is trivial and once connected, all of the audio functionality will work just as if you were connected to a Bluetooth headphones or speakers. You can listen to music or podcasts stored on the iPhone. You can also stream music on any of your favorite apps and that will play as well. You will get full artist/song and all that information displaying on the PCM.

I use this scheme to play podcasts from my iPhone. I also have a bunch of music loaded on the Jukebox through a USB flash drive as well.

i use the dual sd drives for my music storage. figure i may as well get my money out of the car and use everything i can, and other than holding music they are kinda pointless to the consumer
