Porsche has recently opened up the 718 Boxster’s online configurator so enthusiast and future owners alike can make their way there and create their ideal 718 Boxster or 718 Boxster S.

There’s a whole slew of options to choose from and the exterior paint alone comes in 9 color variations with 4 different colors for the convertible top. The combinations are endless but note that any metallic color costs an additional $640 and the special Lava paint will set you back an extra $2,580. If none of the available colors are to your taste, that’s okay because Porsche Exclusive will give you the option to paint that Boxster any color under the sun provided that you pay them an extra fee of course.

As for the interior, there’s the standard options for the normal sport seat or sport seat plus but if you’re willing to pay a bit more you can go for the two tone leather package in either Black/Bordeaux Red or Black/Luxor Beige.

For those of you who can’t seem to get comfortable with a 2 way seat, Porsche has you covered. Perhaps a 14-way power seat may make that long drive more bearable or maybe the 18-way Adaptive Sport Seat is what you really need.

When you have the time, make your way over to the configurator and give it a try. Add everything you’ve ever dreamed of and share your final 718 Boxster here.

Great choice. White exterior with beige interior is a classic combo but the hard part of choosing which features you want to equip it with. Probably going to get the Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) with Memory Package for long drives. Not quite sure about everything else yet.

It amounts to a big jump in price but this being a long-term car for me, I rather get it right first.

There is of course always the option of buying one used for those that want to get a lot for the least amount.
