Looking like a scene out of the next Terminator movie, Porche has come up with a new way to promote their 718 Cayman.
Teaming up with Ali-A, a YouTube Gamer who’s ridden in a Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG last year and driven a Formula E Car In Buenos Aires this year, Porche has produced a new ad promoting the 718 Cayman’s agility.
Sitting behind the wheel is stuntman Mauro Carlo, a man who broke the world record of longest controlled power slide/Drift at 1.44 miles in a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG.
In a game of cat and mouse, the Porsche 718 Cayman must outrun 6 hunter drones piloted by operators who knows their way around the controls. The Cayman has to go through three checkpoints whilst making sure the Drones stay at a distance. When a drone gets close enough to trigger proximity sensors installed on the vehicle, smoke is released to signify a loss of one life.
The 718 Cayman only has three lives for this chase, will they make it? Watch the video below to find out.
