We’ve already seen the upcoming 718 Boxster but what about its hardtop sibling?
The Cayman is set to receive a mid-cycle update but Porsche has been tight lipped about when the 718 Cayman will be revealed. Maybe we’ll hear something from Porsche at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, or better yet, maybe they’ll unveil it alongside the 718 Boxster. Until then, we have Remco M's rendering of the 718 Cayman’s rear end and X-Tomi’s ¾ view to tie us over and spark our imaginations.
Remco opted for a design similar to the 7128 Boxster by adding in the dual exhaust and carrying over the taillights and giving them a slight tine. Also added were the red reflector strips on either side of the license plate, the Porsche logo in the center of the rear bumper, and the slightly modified spoiler.
X-Tomi’s 718 Cayman rendering is pretty much the 718 Boxster but in green and with a hard top added.

While the design is still up in the air, we do know that the new 718 Cayman may come with two turbocharged flat-4 engines. The base model could be equipped with the 2-liter variant with a 300 PS output while the S model will come with a 2.5-liter engine with a 350 PS output.
