Now, that car is sitting low down on its suspension. Much more like the x73 suspension on my 981 GTS. Typically these GTS cars are not so much about the performance increase you get (maybe 0.1 sec on the 0-60), but they do manage to sharpen up the handling a bit more. The real advantage is that you get a bunch of goodies on the car at a better price than if you added them individually on a 718 S (as well as some cosmetic changes). Will probably have alcantara seats and dash standard and dark wheels

Not a huge fan of that sport design package. The front is too angular and the rear diffuser sticks out too much. Checked it out before my order locked because I thought about adding it and it looked weird in real life. Just my impression of course...

I like that I've finally seen an in-the-flesh image of the tinted taillights I spec'd for my on-the-way 2018 Cayman. Me likey.

Otherwise ... I posted this elsewhere: There's a bunch of misinformation in that piece. Everything on that car one can order right now on pretty much any 718. And isn't the GTS rumored to be getting a flat six?

The GTS will get the same engine as the S, only a few horses more (via software).
Suspension, brakes, etc same as in the S.

Plus the typical GTS interior.

Flat six will come for the GT4/Spyder.

The sport design package with the black rear lights, will come exactly like on the spy pic. There will be an optional exterior package where the black plastic parts are painted in gloss black.
Not really a beauty the SDP.

Compared the the 981 GTS where the GTS exterior design really improved the car.

Performance Gains vs Add Ons

You'll see a little more horsepower, but I would not expect much of a performance gain--a tenth or so--over the already extremely quick and fast 718 Cayman S PDK.

I would expect to see it loaded with options.

Car & Driver TEST RESULTS for 718 Cayman S PDK:

Zero to 60 mph: 3.6 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 8.7 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 15.2 sec
Zero to 150 mph: 22.8 sec
Rolling start, 5-60 mph: 4.4 sec
Top gear, 30-50 mph: 2.5 sec
Top gear, 50-70 mph: 2.9 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 12.0 sec @ 117 mph
Top speed (mfr's claim): 177 mph
Braking, 70-0 mph: 142 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 1.02 g

I "see" only a 15hp increase, because it has to stay below the 991.2 (370hp) and 15hp was also the increase for the 981 GTS. So I expect 365hp. For sure a flat 4 turbo.
