The standard Carrera will be even less so. Possibly only a couple of tenths.$40k buys a half second. If I were to buy a 911 it would have to be a 4s for the handling capabilities. But since they only come with automatic, well that won't be happening anyway. It's also just cheaper for me to do a tune on my GTS and set it up as a sleeper. The 911 guys will never know what happened lol
I posted a video where an S beat and Carrera by a few tenths. Forget which thread. The standard Carrera will be even less so. Possibly only a couple of tenths.

If your only value is straight line speed then yes, but it also buys you a completely different car. To purely judge cars on 0-100 times or straight line speed times is a little pointless IMO.$40k buys a half second.
Can't argue with that. Besides there's much less expensive cars that will beat either in a drag race.If you're only value is straight line speed then yes, but it also buys you a completely different car. To purely judge cars on 0-100 times or straight line speed times is a little pointless IMO.
Another good example of which is the driver's car and which is the status car.I was cross-shopping a 991.2 GTS and the 718 GTS that I ended up buying. I had more fun driving the 718 GTS and the 991.2 GTS was almost twice the cost. It wasn't worth it to me.
The last N/A Carrera (Base, S, GTS) was in 2016. 2017-2020 are now turbocharged.Would be interesting to compare with the 2018 Carrera 4S NA-6.
