Hey, I currently have a toyota 86 manual with a torsen lsd and was wondering if a Porsche cayman 718 base manual with PSM, 10mm lowered springs and PTV would be able to drift.

I've searched on YouTube and Google and can't seem to find any info on this.

With the toyota 86 manual its extremely easy to get into and maintain a drift with trc and stability control completely off.

My goal is being able to daily a Porsche cayman 718 base manual and do drift events on weekends

Not sure I agree with that. A significant portion of the last session I had at the Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone in July was spent doing donuts and power slides on the low friction surface and it was very controllable on the throttle.

I have a 718 base with PSM (no PTV), 6 spd. And it is easier to power slide and control than my s13 was. The 718 being effortless and predictable, while getting the s13 to drift required more intent and skill
