When I asked my SA I was informed all the Sports cars have 75mm center caps (only the Macan had 65mm). I was also informed that many of the “fake” ones don’t have the correct colours....

I purchased a set of black/coloured caps for £17.99 from a dealer on eBay and they look great (many of the sellers mentioned the colour being correct in their adverts, so something to check!)

It’s hard to justify $189 for center caps from Suncoast when you can get what look like identical caps for $20 on eBay!!
I bought a set for $12 shipped, from China. They are still in the mail so I'll have to wait and see about the quality!

kfahmi: I saw a video that used a small Allen key inserted into the hole and then pulled with a pair of pliers. One tug through each hole did the job.

Hi all,

The centre caps arrived today and were installed within 10 minutes. I only had to give one tug with the Allen wrench and the old centres popped right out. The coloured ones were a tight fit that was made easier by a thin smear of silicon grease around the bearing surface for the clips.

The ad said OEM--I'm not sure. The boxes and castings sure looked authentic but the red paint could have been a bit thin. I've never looked closely at an original set but at $12 shipped they look good on the wheel.

Can you share where you found your center caps - Thanks!

My SA insisted on putting them on the car for free, along with the clear Euro side-marker lights. I didn't even have to ask, he just considered both of those touches 'de rigueur[/I' for the well-dressed Porsche.....

How about having your SA talk to my SA, and just maybe, I will get a few free accessories so my Porsche does not have to look like it's on public assistance.

I also bought the cheap coloured ones on ebay (£2.99 plus £5 postage from China - about $10 all in). They were so cheap that they were worth a punt. They were advertised as OEM and they came in original Porsche boxes but I doubt that they are OEM. However they fit fine and they look genuine so who cares. I see that ebay have removed the listing now but they don't say why.

What I don't understand is why Porsche Tequipment market loads of different part numbers (depending on wheel) for these 75mm centre caps, varying in price from about £130 to £175. It looks to me like, provided the diameter is right, the same caps will fit all wheels. Certainly the ones I bought are not specific to the 19" Cayman wheels I have.
