I am confused. I understood the Tacan to be an all electric car so I was curious about the Tacan's basic specs; specifically range and charging rate. An article I found states it is "all electric" but also calls it a "Tacan Turbo". WTF? How can an all electric vehicle have a turbocharger or be associated with a turbine?

BTW, what is the projected maximum range and is it known how long a charge takes at reasonably available charging stations? All ultra important concerns.

There is no physical turbocharger. "Turbo" in this case simply refers to the trim level.

Thanks. That is very misleading. Guess I was being naive but would not have expected for Porsche to get sleazy with its marketing. The "Turbo" made me think it was a hybrid with a turbocharged engine.
They sorta started that with the Macan. Even the base Macan had a turbocharged engine, yet there was/is still a Macan Turbo: the highest performance option.

Meh........only for free. Though, I believe in electric toasters.
You shouldn't, I've owned two Porsche design toasters in the past & they both failed prematurely with very little use. Porsche toasters just aren't very reliable, the kettle & coffee maker are still doing well though. :D
