Porsche has unveiled its Cayman GT4 Clubsport, a racing version of the already hardcore GT4 designed solely for the race track.

The lightweight Clubsport is not street legal, and will be powered by the same 3.8-liter flat six, which has a total output of 385 horsepower. The regular Cayman GT4 is said to go from zero to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, so you can expect the Clubsport model to shave some precious milliseconds off that time.

The coupe gets a double-clutch transmission with paddle shifters (so far the regular GT4 is only available with a manual), a mechanical rear-axle locking differential, a lightweight <span class="s1">suspension strut front axle system taken from the 911 GT3 Cup, a welded-in safety cage, a racing bucket seat, and a six-point harness. The car also gets bigger 380-millimeter steel brake discs and will weigh a light
<span class="s1">2,866 pounds.</span>

The Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport will make its public debut at the L.A. Auto Show in November. More information will be available at launch.</span>
