Looking to get into CPO 718 base / S. What is the typical milage I should consider? I'm seeing some with under 10k and with some over 20k. This will be my fun car to drive around.

thank you

My thoughts are that the physical characteristics of the car (cosmetics, accessories, condition, etc.) and price are a lot more important than, what I perceive to be, a minor difference between 10K and 20K miles. Of course, the price for the higher mileage, everything else being equal, should be less but I just see both as low mileage vehicles and, if I was choosing, the mileage difference would matter but not as much as the car being as close as possible to exactly what I wanted.

I have a CPO 2017 CS. Picked it up last January at a Porsche dealer just outside Chicago (I live in Atlanta) with just over 5k miles. I personally was looking for something below 10k miles with a minimum of 6 speed, PASM, PTV, sport exhaust and Carrera S wheels. I was flexible on color, Sport Chrono and mileage. Found the car online, and did the due diligence over the phone- turned out to be super clean and well maintained. As @Barryng said, look for what you want. But, depending on how hard that particular combo is to find, be ready to trade things off and mileage could be one of those things. Oh, and be prepared to travel/ship the car as well.

I bought a 2019-S CPO which was a Porsche executive car... This makes me the original owner on the title, it had 4,500 miles on it, and the warranty is 6 years from when it was placed in service. So in my case I am getting more warranty than the factory original of 4. Porsche offers SO many options that finding what you want may be a give and take. I made a list of must haves, wants, and take or leave it.
For me I had to have an S, red or black, 20s, Bose, PDK, wants were car play, heat and air seats, everything else was take it or leave it...
Good Luck!
