Over the weekend I did my winter 'prep' for my 718 CS. Took the summer wheels/tires off, and put on the winter wheels/tires. And of course today it is 55 degrees! Putting on winter wheels does have that effect - preventing snow. (Although it is supposed to be much colder starting tomorrow.)

For those interested the wheels are starke design 19" wheels with Continental winter tires. This is my second winter with them. Last winter they were amazing. Snow wasn't a problem at all (unless it was over about 4 inches deep.)

I did my winter prep a few weeks ago. Drove it up on Flat Stoppers, plugged it into the Battery Tender, treated the fuel with some Startron and turned the heat up in the toy box garage to 65 degrees. Unless we get some nice sunny clear days without salty roads, she'll stay there and I'll be driving the Subaru.

Nice pic, that is considered a lot of snow here in the UK and our road system would grind to a halt

Quite funny really when a lot of you consider that a Very light dusting
Yep. That amount of snow completely shuts down whole cities in Texas, U.S.A. ...

... which is fine since I can (and have) walked to the office for work, and I've got a 7-Eleven about three blocks away. That's all a city-center dweller like me really needs! >:D
